Google Is Not Accessible In China

Google has confirmed that the site Google.com, Gmail, Google Maps, and Google Docs all point to the IP address that is already dead in China. According to a report of the website of ubergizmo, Google sites stopped working around Friday night in China. This is not the first time that China has blocked Google products. Recently, Google has closed Google Play Music in China. Most outlets speculated it was due to the 18th Party Congress, which is the Congress a decade for a new leader of the electoral process, which is currently going on.

Oddly enough, sites like google.co.uk still works, but the site may only work in terms of page views alone, this could be the largest action ever in censorship. YouTube has been blocked since the year 2009, and all Google services that are blocked as at the time of the year 2010. There is currently no official statement from the Chinese Government about the blocking of Google sites, it is not clear whether the bans are temporary, or whether it will become permanent.
